Aku selalu tengok terms wedding filmmaker. Tertanya - tanya juga wedding filmmaker ni just diorang saja – saja claim ke atau betul-betul gunakan filem dalam rakaman yang dibuat. Rasa aku di Malaysia belum ada lagi yang shoot majlis kahwin mereka dalam bentuk filem. Tutorial ringkas untuk membuat DVD Authoring menggunakan Avid Liquid 7.
1. Mulakan first frame selepas satu minit. So boleh kira dan tengok lepas satu minit baru mark in dan masukkan fail klip video tersebut didalam timeline. Kenapa aku biasa tinggalkan satu minit kat depan tu? Sebabnya untuk memudahkan kita setkan masa untuk DVD menu kita. So katakan kalau korang nak loop kan dia atau nak letak lagu ke takda masalah sebab dah ada ruang yang mencukupi.

IN JUST about every bridal couple’s list of wedding “must-haves” will be the heavy, hard cover album of glossy studio/ outdoor portrait shots of them in various outfits and lovey-dovey poses. Depending on the couple’s taste and budget, the photographs could be the same standard (read: cheap) poses one sees in every other wedding photo album, i.e. hand on shoulder, groom kissing bride, etc. against the backdrop of a painted trellis. Or they could be more creative by posing in the great outdoors.
Going one level up are the photojournalistic shots of the wedding day proper, that capture the essence of the day, moments gone in an instant but captured by the watchful eye of the wedding photojournalist who employs skills of the newspaper photographer – to see and capture but to remain unseen. This kind of wedding photography is gaining popularity in Malaysia, especially among the young and photography-savvy couples who seek out specific photographers by name. Several such Malaysian photographers have gained celebrity status, with bookings from even overseas.
Timewarp
Semasa menjalankan kerja-kerja post, Timewarp adalah salah satu fungsi yang agak kerap digunakan. Timewarp merupakan satu kaedah dimana ianya akan mengubah masa perjalanan didalam clip kita. Contohnya dilajukan atau di slow mo kan.Dalam Liquid ada dua jenis timewarp yang kadangkala agak menglirukan juga iaitu :

Ni ada beberapa terms didalam video production. Aku malas nak translate karang jadik lain pulak. So baca dan paham-pahamkanlah sendiri.
action axis An imaginary line drawn between two subjects or along a line of motion to maintain continuity of screen direction. Crossing it from one shot to the next creates an error in continuity. It is also referred to as the “180-degree rule.”
closeup (CU) A tightly framed camera shot in which the principal subject is viewed at close range, appearing large and dominant on screen. Pulled back slightly is a “medium closeup” while zoomed in very close is an “extreme closeup (ECU or XCU).
